Ok, and now let me speak from my heart, in English:
Well, first of all, I agree — the video turned out a bit weak, unfortunately. I was in a hurry, life’s been hectic, and I’ve lost some of the skill, to be honest. Of course, the AMV "Piggy-Cars" was on a whole different level — but there I had an awesome super-kawaii source, and it all just came together perfectly (even I was shocked!).
This time, the concept was to use live footage with real animals, but as it turns out, piggies — despite being adorable — are fairly monotonous as actors: most of the time they’re either eating or sleeping (which is even less cinematic). Sure, I could dress them up and force them to pose, but I don’t want to stress them out — they don't like it.
Secondly, I absolutely disagree with the claim that the entire video is just piggies chewing greens in front of triangles. There are also rectangles!! And what’s more, I synced them to the beat!
And finally — the main thing. I thought it was so obvious and self-explanatory that the song is a parody cover of “Sigma Boy” (see YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=frAhxXbLetk ), that I intentionally didn’t mention it. In fact, they only recently made a proper music video — before that, they didn’t even have triangles (or rectangles!) or grass in it!

here's the thing, this video it's not even worth researching a song for a translation. (when I eventually did it I found nothing) it almost indicated that you made this song yourself. which if you did focus on that because you did good but given half the songs I listen to with my dad probably have no online existence so I know it's not the exact certainty. but without lyrics unless I was going to try to transcribe the whole thing based on sound. (I learn Ukrainian but I was bad at it, so I know the Cyrillic alphabet even though there are differences between the two language versions of it) I cannot translating it. I honestly am never going to deduct points on that because I understand that it's me and that I am pretty much the only English speaker in this contest at this point. but I know they were too many different words for them all to mean 'hamster eating celery.'
this is the first video of actually just decided not to watch past the first few seconds and I for the sake of integrity usually would never do that. I did go back to look over the video but you literally put a bunch of guinea pigs eating on top of a triangle and did that 10 times. like I said on the other comment I don't really have much to rate it on. The other guinea pig one at least as an idea and I have seen a lot of new creation concepts within the last 3 to 4 years , particularly for the 'depression video segment.' which I still try to view it decently to be clear because I just knew it was not my preference, unlike this. but that does not excuse making a video with just a hamster eating celery on top of it triangle overlay. I feel like it's safe to say that this will most likely be the worst video I have ever seen and it's not getting usurped.
for lack of a better word is this is really bad. I will go as far as to say there is very little substance in this video. and saying substance in video is a borderline term in terms of this. there is only a video in terms of a definition of moving pictures but not in the definition of an AMV/vid. by the end of moving some of the hamsters around at least showed the ability to do something but when the video is ridiculous as this really anything as an improvement. my mum mention that apparently there was a book series about hamster is taking over the world when I told her about this video after I made the majority of this post. said even that doesn't really make this much better even if it explains your previous video.
I did vote for you for best credits now I did enjoy the credits and I am so happy you actually did complete credits which in my day you can't even put a video in a contest without having everything listed in the credits.
Ok, that's a lot of stuff I would like to respond to, but I prefer to do it in Russian and then try to translate. Also, I guess I would add the lyrics as a comment, too, just for reference.
Ну, во-первых, я согласен, видосик, к сожалению, получился слабый, я спешил, времени не хватает по жизни, да и навык подрастерял. Конечно же, АМВ-шные "Свинки-машинки" на голову выше, но там был отличный супер-кавайный исходник, и к тому же, просто удачно получилось, сама в шоке. В этот раз концепция была использовать живое видео со зверушками, но, как оказалось, свинки, несмотря на свою милоту, достаточно однообразны как актёры: большую часть времени они едят или спят (что ещё менее киногенично). Можно, конечно, наряжать их в костюмы и заставлять позировать, но я не хочу их напрягать, они такое не любят.
Во-вторых, я категорически не согласен, что всё видео свинки жуют зелень на фоне треугольников. Там есть и прямоугольники!! Более того, я их синхрил под биты!
И наконец, о главном. Мне казалось настолько самоочевидным и явным, что песня -- кавер-пародия на "Сигма бой" (см. ютуб https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=frAhxXbLetk), что я об этом целенаправленно не упоминал. Более того, нормальный клип они сделали относительно недавно, а так у них не было даже треугольников (и прямоугольников) и травы в видео!

yes I actually did find the zoom in fade thing you did pretty cool and there was also not a heavy credit focus in the majority of batch of videos. I know it's actually pretty difficult to do that. one time trying and ending up with half a minute credits that have to be cut in the end. (to be fair it was my second year but I learn my lesson no one wants half a minute credit) do you also use Movavi.
No Movavi, I used Sony Vegas and Natron.

Если быть предельно честным, техника тут мягко говоря ни о чём от слова совсем, без обид . Уйму ненужных кроссфейдов, слишком всё обрывисто и неплавно, синхра странная, особенно со снятием шляпы, про качество картинки вообще молчу. Ладно ещё плохие 1080 как у меня, и то выходит это вынужденно, а не ибо мне самому не важно какое будет качество картинки
Но здесь автор вообще об данном факторе никак не позаботился и сделал всё на отъ**ись (
Это ж насколько нужно быть угашенным, чтоб использовать в 2025 ом 720 ( SD качество ), хахах

(honestly that will still put this video over the final goal to finally get over to finally have a single video over the dreaded (2 . something) for this specific website since even though I have a few over at news above that ,not really any here) I loved your video and I am happy to hear your comments. (edit-I try to smooth the load of this comment over but since I spent probably 3 hours before finding out that this person was not Markywa (Who complained on Interchanger and I thought he brought his attitude onto my video, even though that video was more about frame rates) some of that stayed because I only spent maybe 10 minutes after. (I get a few comments a year, so I take each one seriously) but I actually respect this person a lot more than this again I thought I was talking to this other person. there are a few names I know by memory but not these two. (mostly the people I see for two or three years repetitively or people from my first 3-4 years)
I am heavily truncated this. (glowing around the twist has a better explanation of this time in the comments, since I was talking about it 3 years later and the site does not let you change the notes) I got into a situation once in which I tried high-quality footage and it got to the point that my computer completely ran out of space. sadly I lost a lot of that in a wipe but I never wanna be in that position again so I try to avoid being wasteful like last time. when I check the difference between 360p and 480p, ok size difference. (The difference was enough in terms of the noticeable increase of quality) I tried for 480p to 720p, still worth the difference but when I saw the difference for 720p to 1080p. one opening is in the 10s, possibly to 20s if big (particularly these days) and the other was in the 40s. (I think mid 30s specifically for that video. I am remembering something from probably half a decade ago, I think this was for the video using the song 'shake it for me') adding the fact the difference visually between 720p and 1080p was pretty minimal but it was almost twice the size. I decided after that point to pretty much avoid the bloated size that is 1080p given I did not notice a difference.
AMV news mention stuff about 360p and 480p and I have carefully considered that existing rule and literally have lost sleep over it. a seemingly made up a rule that is not mentioned and I honestly never heard that before. I am actually I am at a shoestring budget, definitely with disk space (until really recently and this video as I mentioned in the notes was still made on the previous computer and the footage was obtained with the previous computer in mind) so even though I try to keep it to the standards mentioned in big con and here, those are the only standard (other than a few AMV or articles I have read over the years and a few contests I checked back in 2018 and 2019 but never got around to doing) and in the end it was always 720p or '480p if only available.' (edit-in terms of the budget thing. I am on a tight budget. this is technically not a 'listed profession' (even though I am proud of this) and unlike some of you (based on some of the listings for occupation) I do not do animation as a job, so I have consumer equipment instead of a rig.)
I got another computer after a long time which has more space so I might be able to do slightly better footage. but I need a little more information than this. I hope the best, and again thank you for giving me this information but I am fine with you talking about my video but please avoid start talking about my budget, it's just bad taste. even though I do you have some average frame rate videos. I do you a lot of times focus on giving videos with high frame rates, particularly so the transitions shine very smoothly), but that is usually where I focus. this was the second video keep in mind, if I found in remember this video sooner I probably would have done slightly more work on it (even though I was trying to avoid messing up something mostly complete) but I am very proud of the work I did and I am very happy that the majority of these comments are very positive.
(edit- I know this person talked about other stuff but the rest were standard stuff to keep in mind. I thought these was more about me in general rather than just the video. which is why I made a post about it since I actually had a decent explanation for it. it did get way too long. I guess I could cut the last paragraph but I felt like it connected the other two. also it's already three paragraphs so I'm not making another paragraph talking about the other things that, even if I go completely understand everyone's view about transitions, they were standard comments.)

Too long intro with the same music and scene, Very strong halation which is there for no reason whatsoever, Idk the source but some scenes feel AI and some are low quality and random.

I don’t understand why is there no proper introduction for the main character, the video just begins with a beat drop randomly without any intro or intro to anything. but to my surprise, the internal sync at some places is neat.Really wasn’t expecting that ending, its just shake preset on an image. Blank black screen would have been much better in that case.

I don’t think this is more inclined towards editing rather its an evolution of games, more like a history video of gaming evolution over the years, I don’t understand the song choice but I like the video overall, it must have taken a lot of time to collect the sources, took me down a nostalgic lane.

I don’t understand russian, as for the editing it was neither good nor bad, the intro text is zooming with stock background, you could have done a lot since you had one focused theme around the mask, maybe the text could have been funky like the movie and the video itself, but its just there for the purpose and you didn’t take any advantage of it. The cuts are fast and the fades are faster which is unsettling for viewers to understand the context, its like you are trying to cut the next scene immediately while giving as much information you can as fast as possible.

Would have been a solid 4.5 but you could have done a lot more than the box effect on 2:23 or rather played with aspect ratio animations(or back bar animations if that's what they are called).

Honestly I like it, this kind of edits take a lot of time and consideration which I think you really gave to the video for the first part but it falls off after 2:28, but still its a unqiue catergorical video I like it.

My favourite part of the whole video is the outro, I really wish you continued it from there on the outro song to give the video a whole another vibe and distract the viewers who have been watching, dying and killing for the past 2 minutes. Still I liked this one more than "Descending".

Ну эт потому что у вас тут свои сложились традиции и критерии, что хорошо, а что лимонад. Но если вариться в одном и том же бензине десятилетиями, то скучновато станет, надо иногда чё-нить и разнообразить жеж

Да какой же супер!?  Из хорошего в клипе -- только сами звеерушки (они как котики, только лучше), ну и песенка ничё так. Остальное -- чрезвывычайно слабо: кривой хромакей, кислотные подрисовки пэинт-стайл, притыренный у 7НэшнАрми фифект, да и кадры не особо блещут разнообразием, хотя попытки видны.

Здорово наблюдать, что автор не останавливается и развивается. Не один раз уже пересматриваю, нравится плавные переходы и музыкальное сопровождение с одновременной синхронизацией приводящий к эпику. На мой взгляд клип достоин призовых мест. Фримону печенек Удачи!

Ох тут уже шизофрения взяла окончательный верх, но безбожно раздутый хрон и гиперрандом тут всё-таки общее впечатление подсмазали. Возможно, тут линия со Сталлоне в VR или с другими персами могли бы придать больше связности. Но в целом забористая дичь, конечно.

Стопфрейм анимация с боди-хоррором под Disturbed - тут сложно подобрать что-то более гнетущее. Местами аж вспоминал Rammstein - Sonne с альбома "Mutter" 2001 года, но тут пожестче будет, конечно. Зачёт. Титры ещё более психоделичные чем сам клип. Шизанутая кукуха в финале - идеальная метафора!
P.S. Поначалу подумал, что Девиант забыл разлогиниться )
